Invacare Expands Live Video Program With Brandlive
Invacare Corporation, the well-known medical equipment manufacturer and distributor, has opted to extend its Brandlive license and continue building out the company’s growing live video program. Brandlive, the leading platform for interactive live video, is used by Invacare for live training broadcasts, interactive marketing experiences, and clinical education courses. The opportunity for ‘virtual’ CEU courses in particular, which allow for continual learning and immediate delivery of certificates of completion (amongst other optimal features), played a major role in Invacare’s decision to renew with Brandlive. Invacare is aiming to start offering these courses later this year.
“We’re thrilled to be continuing our use of Brandlive, which has made it incredibly easy for us to implement new training initiatives -- both internally, and also for future B2B purposes with our largest providers,” shared Keith Kelleher, Invacare’s Director of Sales Training & Education. “In an industry that is historically slow to adopt new tools, Brandlive makes us feel like we’re ahead of the curve.”
Invacare is part of a recent surge of healthcare brands that are utilizing live video (and Brandlive in particular), joining organizations like Direct Supply, A-dec, Providence Health & Services, and Takara Belmont as they modernize their sales and communication strategies.
“Invacare is truly a leader in the healthcare industry, since it recognizes that this kind of technology is instrumental in telling the product story,” said DJ Widmer, Sr. Director of Business Development at Brandlive. “As every market gets more saturated, the need to train partners and distributors has never been more paramount, and Invacare clearly understands that.”
Brandlive provides an omni-channel live video platform for healthcare organizations to modernize their training, marketing, and eCommerce events. The end-to-end LIVE and On-Demand video platform enables brands to connect their best product experts and influencers directly to national and global digital audiences, who can then interact with those experts. Customers such as Cambia, Providence Health & Services, Takara Belmont, The North Face, REI, and eBay use Brandlive to launch products, increase eCommerce sales, create innovative live marketing programs, and conduct more cost-effective internal events and training. Brandlive is headquartered in Portland, OR and can be found online at
