Job Overview

The Office Manager’s contributions are vital to the success of our growing company! We are looking for a positive, creative, up-for-any-challenge person who will make sure the day-to-day operations are running smoothly. Since this position has a number of varying responsibilities - from handling accounts payable, to onboarding all new hires, to keeping the kitchen stocked & the office playlist bumpin’ - we are keeping an eye out for that special candidate who can juggle a lot while maintaining a positive energy.

This role will be reporting to the Director of Operations and Controller.

Duties And Responsibilities

Office Management:

  • Office supply and vendor management
  • Event/meeting management
  • Facilities and equipment management
  • Special projects
  • Manage food & beverage program to ensure quality and budget control
  • General office management
  • New hire onboarding: setting up new hires with computer equipment and ensuring they have everything they need on their first day

Bookkeeping:

  • Accounts payable
  • Customer invoicing and accounts receivable
  • Collect and process expense reports
  • Vendor set-up and payments
  • Assist controller at end-of-month close

Required Knowledge And Skills

  • 5+ years experience with bookkeeping
  • Prior office management a plus
  • Familiarity with Apple and Google apps
  • Can endure some light and occasional physical activity, e.g. lifting objects up to 50lbs
  • Flexible and adaptable, ability to work in a highly evolving culture
  • Excellent communication
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
  • Ability to work effectively within deadlines
  • Enjoyment in organizing and making things "run flawlessly"
  • Can-do attitude: you may not know the answer, but you can find it
  • Ability to act independently, at the same time knowing when to ask questions
